Swiss Capital S.A. was founded in 1996 and is authorised by the National Securities Commission (CNVM) to provide a wide range of investment services on the Romanian capital market.

Having an experienced team, Swiss Capital (ex-KBC Securities Romania SSIF S.A.) has established itself as the most active broker on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (first place by aggregated turnover for the years 2007-2011).

Swiss Capital is recognized as being the brokerage company responsible for some of the biggest trades on the Romanian market, such as the placement of 5% of BRD Societe Generale shares or of a 17% stake in Zentiva Romania. Currently, Swiss Capital is part of the consortium selected by the State for selling a 15% stake in Transelectrica.

Starting October 2011, Swiss Capital is no longer part of the KBC Group, as the company was subject to a management buyout. We continue our mission to provide our clients products and services of the best kind, keeping the tradion which has allowed Swiss Capital to become the most active broker on the foreign and local institutional client segment, as well as the high net worth individuals segment.
